Coast Protection

TEC's coastal campaign is based on ecologically sustainable principles.  We oppose urban sprawl; lobby for new conservation reserves and environment protection zonings; support water and energy savings and advocate only the use of already cleared land, near transport hubs, for development.  We have also surveyed the extent of development proposals and published a guide to coastal law.
