Green Capital was created in 2002 by the Total Environment Centre, one of Australia’s most innovative and independent, non-government environment organisations.
Green Capital instigated a platform for debate about ‘corporate social responsibility’ in this country, and for over a decade it has continued to set the agenda on the marriage of sustainability and business opportunity. Over 16,000 businesses, government departments and NGOs have participated in Green Capital’s regular forums and roundtables in Sydney and Melbourne.
We believe today’s business leaders are shaping tomorrow’s world.
Green Capital is about ‘What Next?
At Green Capital it’s our mission to encourage and support Australian business transitioning to the new, sustainable, low-carbon economy.
Throughout the year Green Capital’s program of events brings the latest thinking and change makers right to your table. We have the respect and the clout to attract top speakers.
Exciting, Important, and Ethical
We want you to join us on the green frontier, the edge where industry and environment meet, because it’s the most exciting, important, and ethical place to be.
Green Capital is a not-for-profit, politically nonpartisan, pragmatic team dedicated to making social and environmental responsibility a dynamic option for business.
We have the networks, we have the research, and the campaigners on the ground to bring you the latest information on the most crucial environment issues facing Australian business today. We engage stakeholders and collaborators; and provide the lessons from leaders which will help you change your business practice to make a real difference.
