TEC is working with local groups to develop regional strategies based on principles of environmental sustainability. The government released a South Coast Strategy in February 2007. In the same month the Illawarra Strategy was released.
Joint group submissions were produced for the draft South Coast plan. In the meantime we are helping to stop damaging developments. In October the Government released the South Coast Sensitive Sites panel report.
