Voluntary Carbon Action

Australia needs to take action on reducing carbon emissions quickly. We are the highest per person polluters on the planet and as a developed country have a responsibility to help safeguard the environment.
I can buy GreenPower and/or carbon offsets and do energy efficiency, but I want to make sure that the big polluters also do their bit. So my action needs to be additional to their actions. The Carbon Pollution Reduction Scheme and international treaties should recognise this. We also need a big push on energy efficiency by industry and the power sector - government laws with targets mandating this are necessary.
